Hi All! Having a great time here in Washington D.C. at the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. If you are interested, our National Awards Ceremony is going to be live streamed tomorrow from Washington D.C. on the web. Access it here at spirit.prudential.com – The stream should be available around 10:45-ish MST (if I did the calculations correctly). Tune in if you want and see if I won! Thanks again to everyone who made this project a success, it has been the experience of a lifetime.
Thanks again to Cherry Creek Radio, and all of the hosts who were so kind to host me again on their shows. You guys really are a HUGE help for my project. Special thanks to Matt Dangerfield of STAR FM, Chris Wolf and Brian Lee of Z100, Denis Bragg of The Hawk, and Tom&JJ on Eagle 93. You guys are great!
Yesterday, I learned that I was recently made Montana’s state winner and national finalist for the Prudential Spirit of Community Scholarship awards. This award as of now, contributes $1000 to my college tuition, and if I am selected as a national finalist, an additional $5000, along with $5000 donated to a charity of my choice. This is truly an honor for myself and my project, and it only was made possible by ALL of your support and contributions and applications! Without your help, this project never could have taken off. I am so happy to have found a way to benefit our community, and I will never forget all those who helped me start this project out. Thank you once again for everything you have done for me, and this project! Your support has been AMAZING!
Thanks once again to Town Square Media and Billy and Charene, with the KYSS FM morning show. Such great hosts, and wonderful people to have me back on the air again. Thanks for all your support!
Thanks to everyone at KPAX for featuring my story. Here is a link to the story. http://www.kpax.com/videos/loyola-senior-turns-pc-parts-and-pieces-into-valuable-tools-for-students/
Hello everyone! Thanks so much for supporting the project, I just wanted to let all of you who signed up know that I have received your applications, and am going through everything as quickly as I can. At the moment I don’t know if I have enough laptops for everyone, but I work on a first come first serve basis, so keep your applications coming and I will email you as soon as I can.
Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Cherry Creek Radio, who helped me debut my project over ALL FOUR of their stations! Specific thanks to
Z100 Classic Rock – Brian Lee and Chris Wolfe
The Hawk Classic Country – Dennis Bragg
Eagle 93 – Tom and JJ
and Star FM
Special thanks to Mollie Simpkins, for scheduling these interviews!
